Yeah I agree, I just don't think this game pleases either fan base because it plays like neither one.... it plays like MvC 3 for some damn reason that I cannot figure out.
I mean if they make it play like Tekken or SF then it makes sense but where the fugg did the Marvel-ish gameplay come from?

If I had to speculate, they decided to play the middle of the road game. Since favoring the play style of one franchise over the other would cause overwhelming amounts of protest from whatever side feels Ono short changed.
Tekken is weird to me, it honestly feels like they're trying to force it down the Fighting game communities short by pairing it with an established franchise AND using another established franchise's fighting engine.
At least CvS had multiple systems to choose from at your leisure, but when you cross a 3D with a 2D that becomes impossible. This games just kind of feels like you crossed two things that taste good that don't taste good together. |

| I just watched some vids on this game and have gotten a little hyped for it. Not entirely but at least a little. I'm feeling poison and if they announce another character that rocks I will pick this up. |
